The Linkr mobile app is the primary interface for discovering, connecting to, and sharing hotspots. It puts the entire Linkr network in your pocket.

What you can do

The app provides full access to the Linkr network:
  • Discover hotspots: browse the live map to find connectivity anywhere in the world
  • Connect to hotspots: access available hotspots with a single tap
  • Share your own hotspots: contribute connectivity and see it appear on the global map
  • Monitor your contributions: track availability, reliability, and usage of hotspots you share
  • Manage your account: update settings, view history, and control your presence on the network
Everything you can do on Linkr, you can do from the app.

Platform availability

iOS: Available on the App Store (coming soon) Android: Planned for future release The iOS app is our initial launch platform. Android support will follow.

Requirements

  • iOS 15.0 or later
  • iPhone or iPad
  • Internet connection for initial setup and map browsing
  • Location services (optional but recommended for proximity-based discovery)

Getting the app

When the app launches:
  1. Search for “Linkr” on the App Store
  2. Download and install
  3. Open the app and sign in with your Linkr account (or create one)
  4. Start exploring
If you do not have a Linkr account yet, you can create one directly in the app during first launch.

The app is organized into four main areas: Map: the live connectivity map showing all shared hotspots My Hotspots: hotspots you have shared, with status and performance data Connections: your connection history and any active sessions Account: profile settings, preferences, and account management Each section is covered in detail in the following pages.
