Your Linkr account is your identity on the network. It connects your contributions, connections, and preferences across all devices.

Signing in

When you open the app:
  1. Tap Sign In
  2. Enter your email address
  3. Enter your password
  4. Tap Continue
If your credentials are correct, you are signed in and taken to the map view.

Creating an account

If you do not have a Linkr account:
  1. Tap Create Account on the welcome screen
  2. Enter your email address
  3. Create a password
  4. Confirm your password
  5. Tap Create Account
  6. Check your email for a verification link
  7. Tap the link to verify your account
Once verified, you can sign in and start using the app.

Staying signed in

The app keeps you signed in automatically. You do not need to enter your credentials each time you open the app. To sign out manually:
  1. Go to Account
  2. Scroll to the bottom
  3. Tap Sign Out
You might sign out if you are switching accounts or handing your device to someone else.

Password recovery

If you forget your password:
  1. On the sign-in screen, tap Forgot Password
  2. Enter your email address
  3. Tap Send Reset Link
  4. Check your email for the reset link
  5. Follow the link to create a new password
  6. Return to the app and sign in with your new password
Password reset links expire after 24 hours.

Account settings

In the Account section of the app, you can:
  • Update your email: change the email associated with your account
  • Change your password: set a new password
  • Manage notifications: control what alerts you receive
  • View account activity: see recent sign-ins and actions
  • Delete your account: permanently remove your account and data

Multiple devices

Your Linkr account works across devices. Sign in on a new device, and your data syncs automatically:
  • Hotspots you have shared appear in your dashboard
  • Your connection history is available
  • Your preferences carry over
There is no limit to the number of devices you can sign in on.

Account security

To keep your account secure:
  • Use a strong, unique password
  • Do not share your credentials
  • Sign out on shared or public devices
  • Review account activity periodically
If you notice suspicious activity, change your password immediately and contact support.
Your Linkr credentials are the same whether you use the mobile app or the web. One account, everywhere.
